I love using Google Flights. It’s my first go-to tool when searching for flights.

My favorite feature is the Explore map, which lets you set filters before seeing a map of the destinations that meet your requirements.

I use this whenever I have a free weekend to leave the city. All I do is set the dates I can travel, set a maximum price, and filter for flights only. Sometimes I’ll add a destination or general region in mind, such as the Caribbean, Canada, Europe, etc. and it’ll show me the available options.

Whether you’re new to this feature or you already use it all the time, there’s more you’ll want to discover. More airports, that is.

What I discovered in 2022 that I still do every time I shop for flights
