Why I had originally decided to not buy a jacket (and why I finally decided to buy it)
Hint: it retails for $170. Here's why I decided that it wasn't good enough at that price, and here's why I finally caved and bought it.
I was in the market for a warm, snug jacket to wear on walks. Someone I sort of have a crush on showed me his new Spyder jacket he got over the holidays from Nordstrom Rack, and it was the perfect thickness and warmth I was searching for.
However, I didn’t prioritize buying a similar one for myself until maybe a few weeks ago. The same hoodies and sweatshirts I wore week after week for years weren’t terrible, so I decided to not shop unless an outrageous sale came around.
Starting the search for my jacket
One night after work, I had gotten some other online stores’ emails that advertised their Spyder pullovers or hoodies, so I Googled “Spyder jacket women” to see if I could get a jacket at a good price. My crush had told me he got his for $55 after discounts when it normally sold for over $100.
